How did Rebase add value?
Having received funding Validus were growing quickly and needed to triple their London footprint while upgrading their office space. Because of their ongoing growth they needed to find an office enabling future expansion without another relocation.
We worked with Validus to find creative solutions to their future expansion needs, presenting a variety of on and off-market opportunities.
What was the result?
We identified an off-market opportunity in 90 Whitfield Street which fitted Validus’ brief in terms of style and specification. In addition, the other half of the floor has a lease expiry during their term enabling future expansion.
We also secured a contractual right for them to use Derwent’s DL/78 tenant lounge, offering further overflow and meetings space if needed. By identifying the space while off-market and under refurbishment we were able to secure better than market without competition in a competitive market.
